Kilmarnock are set to sign left back Kevin McHattie after he was released by Hearts earlier today.

The 22-year-old made over 80 first team appearances for the Jambos but left this afternoon by mutual consent in order to gain more first team football.

Killie are also believed to be considering a move for ex Dundee United defender Gavin Gunning, who was most recently with Oldham Athletic.

Rumours are also doing the rounds linking former Hearts and Rangers midfielder Ian Black with a move to Kilmarnock but for now those are only rumours and we have no reason to believe there is any truth in them.
