Aberdeen have confirmed that tonight’s Europa League qualifier against Kairat Almaty is a sell out.

Over 20,000 tickets have been sold and Dons boss Derek McInnes believes the bumper crowd can help drive his team to victory.

McInnes said: “It has all the makings of a great European night, but we will only make it memorable by winning and getting through.

“We want to make it special and we will certainly be giving it our all to make the tie go our way.

“We said to the players at the team hotel before the Dundee United match on Sunday to give it everything and concentrate fully as we knew the level of support that was going to the match.”

The first leg, in Kazakhstan, was also sold out, played in front of 23,000 – an impressive jumop on Kairat’s crowd for league matches which ranges between 6,000 and 10,000.
