
What: The Sparkling Showstoppers Supper.
Where: Drumossie Hotel, Inverness.
Who: The event was attended by 220 guests, largely hailing from Inverness.
Why: The event was organised by Inverness Friends of Children 1st to raise funds for the services they provide at their family resource centre at Killen on the Black Isle.
Guests were welcomed to the event with glass of fizz sponsored by the hotel, followed by a hot supper. After this, musical entertainment was provided by Highland Youth Big Band, and soloist Caroline MacPherson who was accompanied by Alyn Ross. The performances on the night were arranged by well known Inverness teachers, Pam McCulloch and Alyn Ross. There was a raffle and heads and tails game which helped make a grand total of £5,000 on the night.
