What: Official opening of the new clubhouse at Trump International Golf Links.

Where: Trump International Golf Links, Menie Estate, near Balmedie.

Who: A collection of VIPs, local dignitaries and press attended the opening. Among the guests were P&J columnist and PGA chief executive Sandy Jones, Ian Armstrong, SCDI regional director, and Stewart Spence, owner of The Marcliffe Hotel.

Why: Donald Trump invited guests to celebrate the opening of the new clubhouse at Trump International Golf Links.

Guests were greeted with a host of dishes from the new brunch menu before moving outside where Mr Trump made a speech and marked the occasion with the cutting of a gold ribbon.

Joined by his sons Eric and Don jun, who have both been involved in the development of Trump International, Mr Trump invited questions from the press and guests before enjoying a round of golf.
