A British PR supremo is being honoured in Los Angeles.

Sarah Robarts is the president and founder of Ballantines Public Relations and has worked alongside some of the world’s leading companies, including Lionsgate, Sony, American Airlines and Amazon.

Robarts will receive the first-ever pioneer award at the Social Media Superstar Awards (SMSA) in Los Angeles, with Good Morning Britain’s Ross King on hosting duties.

Organisers praised Robarts for being “unique, unstoppable and truly respected across the world”.

Reacting to the award, Robarts said:  “I love the USA and the opportunities, challenges and gifts it has presented to me over the 20 years I have made America my home.

“I certainly love what I do and while it has been a huge learning curve to run my own business so far away from my original home and to raise two kids solo at the same time, I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

“I’m proud to lead my talented team and so proud of the successes we have made along the way, both for our clients and for ourselves.”

The Social Media Superstar Awards are held in partnership with the British American Business Council Los Angeles and take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles on February 13.
