Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham have confirmed they are going to get married – just not yet.

The smitten couple revealed on the Love Island reunion show that they are currently looking at houses so they can move in together and that although they are planning to tie the knot it will not be in the next year.

“Marriage is stress,” said Dani. “I will stress out, I’ll be Bridezilla!”

The couple said they are still struggling to believe that they won the series.

“It doesn’t feel real,” said Dani, while Jack agreed: “I can’t believe it.”

They also discussed their strong feelings for each other and Dani said of Jack: “He makes me feel all the happiness in the world.”

The pair told host Caroline Flack they would put their £50,000 winnings towards items for their new house but that in the week since leaving the villa they have spent most of their money on eating.

Jack said while he had not met Dani’s father Danny Dyer in person they had been in contact and he had made a good impression on the EastEnders star.

There were laughs when Caroline presented the pair with a mocked up movie poster for a film called The Business, featuring Danny, Dani and Jack. The gift was a nod to Jack admitting to having a poster of the actor in his room at home.

The one-off special of the ITV2 show saw all 38 of this year’s islanders return to talk about what they had been doing since their stay in the villa.

Viewers were laughing all over again as the show’s narrator Iain Stirling named Hayley Hughes’ Brexit conversation as one of his highlights of the series.

The contestant tickled fans when she admitted she had no idea what Brexit was, then panicked thinking it might affect her holidays – and trees.

The scene was played during Sunday night’s reunion show, to the amusement of fans.

“Hayley’s view on Brexit is still bloody funny,” one person said on Twitter.

Eyal Booker was left red-faced when Flack joked that she was not his “hon”.

As Eyal was introduced by Flack, he referred to her as “hon”.

“I’m not your hon, hon,” she shot back.

Megan Barton Hanson had an embarrassing memory slip when she forgot she had been on a date with Alex George.

The model had to pick three men to go out with when she first arrived on the programme and chose Alex, Eyal and Niall Aslam.

But when she talked about it during the reunion programme she could not remember the date with Dr Alex.

Viewers thought it was hilarious, with many posting about it on Twitter.

“Omg Megan can’t remember she chose Dr Alex for a date on her first day hahahhahhhahhhhahaha,” one person said, while another asked: “Why is Megan being so shady towards Alex?”

Things got a little awkward when Flack quizzed Megan and Georgia Steel about why they didn’t get on.

Megan suggested it was because bubbly Georgia was unlike anyone she usually spent time with, with the fact she called people “Boo” coming up.

Giving Megan a huge smile, Georgia responded: “That’s OK Boo, no need to worry, darling!”

Many viewers took to social media to write about the “awkward” exchange.

“I cannot BREATHE after that Megan and Georgia interaction,” said one.

Adam Collard and Zara McDermott were also at the reunion and confirmed they have had matching tattoos since leaving the villa.

The couple’s romance has been going strong and to mark their relationship they have had each other’s initials inked onto their hands.

Adam teased that his Z etching was “stick on”, but then said it was actually real.

The 2018 series finished with the presentation of the Muggy Awards.

Best Dramatic Performance went to Ellie Brown for her blazing row with Georgia, and Laura Anderson scooped Most Memorable Pieing Off for being broken up with by both Wes Nelson and Jack Fowler.

Georgia picked up the Special Recipient Award For Loyalty, in honour of the fact she claimed she was loyal so many times.

Jack clinched the Iain Stirling Award For Absolute LOLs for walking in on Megan and Wes “doing bits”.

The People’s Choice Award For The Muggiest Moment Of The Series went to Georgia for her kiss with Jack, when he was with Laura.

Discussing winning two gongs, she admitted to feeling “a bit muggy”.

Love Island then wrapped up for this year, with Flack reminding viewers of the details for applying for the show’s next run.

She said that 25,000 people have applied so far.
