Outlander fans are being offered the chance to quiz author Diana Gabaldon at a stately home that features in the hit TV show.
The US writer will take part in a conversation event at Hopetoun House near South Queensferry on March 15.
Fans will recognise the attraction from the screen adaptation of her historical time travel series, which concluded its fourth season in January.
Author James Crawford will chair the evening in the Red Drawing Room, which appeared as the home of the Duke of Sandringham in series one.
Outlander follows the adventures of English nurse Claire Randall, who travels back in time from 1940s Scotland to the 18th century, where she meets and falls in love with Highlander Jamie Fraser.
The first book was published in 1991 and it was adapted for television in 2014.
Fans of the series have since flocked from Europe and North America to visit locations featured in the show.
The Hopetoun House event has been organised by VisitScotland and Publishing Scotland, with support from United Airlines.
