Jack Fincham has said he still has “a lot of love” for Dani Dyer following their break-up.

The reality TV star said he still has feelings for his fellow Love Island winner, and wishes her happiness after their eight-month romance.

Fincham also said he has not spoken to her father Danny Dyer since the break-up, but remains on “good terms” with the EastEnders actor.

He said he wishes Dani all the best and wants her to be happy following their relationship, which he says was genuine and not contrived for the cameras.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, he said: “I’m always going to have a lot of love for her. We’re on good terms and stuff.

“It’s just life, it just didn’t work out, and that’s it. I wish her all the best, and I genuinely mean that.

“I hope she’s happy, I want her to be happy.

“There’s a lot of feelings there. We’ve been through a lot together.”

He added: “Of course I still fancy her.”

Speaking about his ex-girlfriend’s father, Fincham said: “I haven’t spoken to him. Everything is all on good terms, honestly. It’s just a shame.”

Fincham, who has ambitions to become a professional boxer, said his romance on Love Island was not faked for publicity.

He said: “Never, ever, ever would I do anything for show like that. I haven’t got the heart for it, I’d get too upset.”

The pair split up in early April, announcing in a post on Instagram that: “Sometimes things aren’t meant to be.”
