Police searching for a missing north-east taxi driver have found a body.
Robert Stevenson, 65, was last seen driving his taxi, a blue Dacia Duster, on Thursday afternoon.
A car, along with a body police are yet to formally identify, were found off the B9031 near Pennan at around 10pm last night.
Officers say Mr Stevenson’s family have been informed.
A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed that the B9031 will be closed between Pennan and Aberdour for the remainder of the day.
They added: “This is to allow for recovery of the vehicle and collision investigation.”
