A body has been found in the search for a missing Highlands pensioner.
Phyllis Robin, 78, was last seen wearing pyjamas and wellington boots in Aultgrishan near Gairloch last night.
Today police search teams joined coastguard crews and a helicopter from Stornoway to search the surrounding area and water in an attempt to find her.
Officers have confirmed a body has been found at around 1.50pm this afternoon and that Ms Robin’s family has been informed.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “The body of a female was found on the shoreline at Lonemore, near Gairloch.
Sadly, the body was identified as that of Phyllis Robyn, 78 years, who had been reported to police as missing from Lonemore earlier in the day.
“There are no suspicious circumstances, however as with all deaths in the open, a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
