A man has been arrested after three cyclists were injured in Renfrewshire.
On Wednesday, at around 10.20pm, three cyclists were on a cycle path near Nether Johnstone Small Holdings, on Milliken Road, Kilbarchan.
A 37-year-old man suffered a number of serious injuries, including stab wounds. He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment.
A 29-year-old also suffered serious face injuries and was also taken to hospital. An 18-year-old suffered minor face injuries that did not require medical attention.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is expected to appear in court on Monday.
Detective Constable Colin Leggat, of Paisley CID, said: “A 30-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with this and is due to appear at court on Monday June 1.
