A man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery in Angus.
A member of staff at a shop in Ponderlaw Street, Arbroath, was allegedly threatened with an axe during a raid on Saturday July 18.
Police Scotland said no-one was injured during the incident at about 6am.
Now, a 29-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery and is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday.
