A horse has been reunited with its owner after falling down a cliff in Aberdeenshire. The alarm was raised just after 1pm and fire crews made their way to the scene in Cammachmore. A multi-agency rescue was launched involving Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews, police, coastguard and the Scottish SPCA.

Emergency services are attending a two vehicle accident on the A90 Aberdeen to Newtonhill road. The accident happened around 7.45pm close to the Cammachmore turnoff near Newtonhill. Nobody has been injured in the incident but one northbound lane remains closed while police recover the vehicles.
