Emergency services called to flat fire in Aberdeen

Emergency services are currently making their way to a flat fire in Aberdeen. The alarm was raised at 7.34pm after reports of smell of burning at a flat in the city’s Grampian Road. A police spokeswoman said officers were heading to the scene, along with fire teams and ambulance crews. More to follow.


Fire crews attend Oldmeldrum flat fire

Crews attended a fire at a ground floor flat in Oldmeldrum last night. Three units, two from Inverurie and one from Kintore, were deployed to Otter Avenue at 7.45pm. They had the blaze under control, and issued an all clear, by 8.10pm. There were no evacuations or injuries.
