Prince Harry is to join his father to give wounded veterans the chance to compete in Charles’s favourite Highland games.
Plans are in place to form an official UK Highland Games Team after a group of wounded veterans took part in Scotland’s first Para Highland Games in front of Prince Charles at the weekend.
The Duke of Rothesay saw history being made at the small Highland games near his far north holiday home at the Castle of Mey.
This year’s Highland Games in Mey will be unique in its own right as the first ever para-athlete Highland Games is to be held at the Caithness venue.
