Alex Beresford eliminated from Dancing On Ice

Alex Beresford has become the latest celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing On Ice.

The presenter and his professional partner Brianne Delcourt narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-final after losing to Kem Cetinay and Alex Murphy in the skate-off on Sunday night’s show.

Judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Jason Gardiner all agreed that Cetinay deserved to continue in the competition.

Beresford said he had the “best time ever” on the ITV programme.

“It was everything I could have wished for and more,” he said as he was given his marching orders.

“I thought I was going to be out week one or week two.”

The other contestants still in the running are Brooke Vincent, Jake Quickenden and Kem Cetinay and Max Evans.

The show has returned after a four-year hiatus, with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby bask as hosts.

Willoughby’s wardrobe choices have been a talking point each week, with this week no exception as she stepped out in what appeared to be a wedding dress.

The long, ruffled white gown confused fans, with many of them posting messages on Twitter asking why the star had dressed as a bride.
