A north-east lifeboat has been called out after reports of a person being cut off by the rising tide.
The Coastguard asked Fraserburgh’s volunteer crew to go to the aid of someone stranded at rocks at around 2pm.
A Coastguard spokeswoman said: “The lifeboat was called out after reports of a person being cut off at the rocks at Broadsea.
“They managed to get out of the water and they are being checked over by ambulance crews.”
