Vital repairs are being carried out on a remote mountain path on an Aberdeenshire estate after a special delivery of heft boulders and stones were airlifted in by helicopter.

A man has unveiled a new defibrillator in a north-east community six months after one of the devices saved his life.
Firefighters have tackled a blaze on the Mar Lodge estate at Braemar. The fire broke out in a shed, which contains a generator, at about 5.50am. There were four crews in attendance, who are used three pumps to tackle the flames. A fire spokeswoman later confirmed they had managed to extinguish the fire by 7.30am.
For the eighth year running, Cadbury is supporting the National Trust for Scotland (NTS) and presenting a great day out for all the family – an Easter egg trail. There will be trails at 50 NTS venues across Scotland, including several in Grampian, Moray and the Highlands and islands. In Aberdeen and Grampian, trails are taking place at a number of places, including Fyvie Castle, Crathes Castle, Haddo House, Craigievar Castle, Drum Castle, Mar Lodge, Castle Fraser and Leith Hall Garden and Estate.
