Detectives hunting Jed Allen, who is suspected to have killed his six-year-old sister, their mother and her partner, have released CCTV of him at Oxford railway station on the evening they found dead.

New CCTV footage showing a man suspected of stabbing to death his six-year-old sister, their mother and her partner, was released by police today.

Jed Allen, 21, a fan of the blade-wielding X-Men comic-book antihero Wolverine, is shown in WH Smith at Oxford railway station just before 6pm on Saturday, Thames Valley Police said.

Jed Allen, 21, who is being sought by police after the bodies of a 44-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman and a six-year-old girl were discovered in a house in Vicarage Road, Didcot, Oxfordshire, after officers were called by a member of the public last night.

Armed police officers are scouring Didcot, Oxfordshire, and its surrounding areas, after the bodies of Philip Howard, 44, Janet Jordon, 48, and daughter Derin were discovered in a house in Vicarage Road just after 8.20pm on Saturday, following a call from a member of the public.

More than 100 officers are also searching Oxford University Parks where Allen worked as a groundsman.

Police also revealed they have found what they believe is the murder weapon at the crime scene.

Detective Superintendent Chris Ward, the head of Thames Valley Police’s major crime unit, said they believe Jed arrived in Oxford by train from Didcot at 5.45pm on Saturday.

Derin Jordon, six, and her mother Janet Jordon, 48, whose bodies, along with that of Philip Howard, 44, were discovered in a house in Vicarage Road, Didcot, Oxfordshire, after officers were called by a member of the public. Police continue to search for Jed Allen, 21, who is being sought by police in connection with their deaths.
