New names have been announced for an upcoming Aberdeen comedy extravaganza from October 3 to 13.

The Aberdeen International Comedy festival programme now includes extra additions Gareth White, Gary Little, Graham Mackie and Wray Thomson.

Adrian Watson, chief executive of Aberdeen Inspired, said: “With a fantastic line-up of big names and rising stars and more than 40 shows taking place over 11 days, there will be plenty of reasons to visit Aberdeen this October.

“The Aberdeen International Comedy Festival has grown exponentially since it began in 2016 and we are very proud of the fantastic array of comedians that the public can enjoy on their doorstep at over 20 venues throughout the city centre.

“With big names like Ben Elton, who is making his eagerly anticipated return to stand-up, to ‘Irish Australian’ Jimeoin and New Yorker Desiree Burch, our line-up is truly international and  festival programmes can be picked up at a range of city centre venues including the Music Hall, the Lemon Tree and the Tivoli Theatre, as well as a wide selection of hotels, cafes and bookshops throughout the city.”

Gary Little and Graham Mackie will be in action for their lunchtime show You Got To Laugh at The Glentanar on Saturday October 5.

On Saturday, October 12, north east man Wray Thomson will give some Late Night Man Chat at The Carmelite Hotel which promises to be a riot.

The festival has been organised and promoted in its entirety by Aberdeen Inspired since 2016 with support from The McGinty’s Group Scotland and Balmoral Group.
