Police are investigating a would-be break in and an act of vandalism in Huntly.
Officers are on the hunt for information after the attempted break-in at VG Superstore, on Huntly’s King Street, which took place between 5.30pm on Saturday and 7am on Monday.
A low two-figure sum of damage was caused.
Officers are also investigating after vandals targeted the town’s Nordic Ski Centre between 5pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday.
Constable Craig Arnott said: “There is nothing to suggest these two incidents are linked and we are appealing to the community to come forward with information.”
Anyone with information should call 101.
