One person taken to hospital following Inverness house fire

A person has been taken to hospital following a house fire in Inverness.

Fire crews were called out to the blaze in Abbey Court shortly after 7pm.

A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “We were called out to a kitchen fire and received the stop message at 7.09pm.

“There is one casualty now with the Scottish Ambulance Service.”
