Shoppers stuck in lift in Inverness

Two shoppers had to be released by firefighters after they became stuck in a lift in Inverness town centre this afternoon.

A fire service spokeswoman said the pair became trapped in the lift at Rose Street car park at about 12.45pm.

She said one appliance from Inverness attended and the crew used a lift key to free them.
