Snow to fall on Aberdeen and Inverness tomorrow morning

Aberdeen and Inverness could both be hit by snow tomorrow with freezing temperatures set to grip the north and north-east.
Temperatures in the north-east will not reach above freezing tomorrow with up to 4cm of snow expected in lower regions of Aberdeenshire and in Aberdeen.
It comes as the Highlands, western and northern isles were hit with winds as high as 113mph.
A Met Office yellow “be aware” warning for snow and ice will be in place for the north-east and north tomorrow from 6am and will remain in place until Sunday at 12pm.
Frost is also expected to cause problems in the early hours of the morning.
Nicola Maxey, Met Office spokeswoman: “We’re looking at heavy snows going to fall to lower levels. Accumulations of 2cm-4cm is likely and accumulations of 8cm and above on heavy ground.
“We have also got the added complication of ice on Saturday morning which could make driving conditions difficult.”
