Coastguards last night assisted in the search for a woman missing from her home in the Caithness area.
Crews in the north were asked to help with the search just before 5am as concern for the 75-year-old woman grew.
A spokesman for the coastguard in Stornoway said teams from Wick, Duncansby and Scrabster were all involved in the operation.
He added: “We were called in by police to assist with the search at one minute to five this morning.
“Thurso lifeboat and rescue helicopter 951 from Inverness were also at hand.
“The woman was found safe and well.”
