A runaway Shetland pony caused chaos at the weekend after police were called to secure the furry escapee.
Officers hunted down the pony which was seen running on footpaths and roads in a housing estate in Sussex at around 1.45pm on Sunday.
Police sent four squad cars to rein in the tiny horse that is seen in the video trotting through a residential area.
But the Shetland tear-away managed to evade capture for an hour – before finally being cornered in a garden.
Sussex Police media relations officer, Sam Satchell, said: “Witnesses reported seeing a pony – travelling on the A2011 Crawley Avenue towards Hazelwick Roundabout.”
The runaway pony was eventually contained using ropes in the garden of a property in Short Close at 2.46pm.
The police have thanked everybody who helped in locating and securing the horse and the RSPCA have been contacted in a bit to trace the owner.
