The Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland (RHASS) is offering two youngsters the chance to attend next year’s Oxford Farming Conference (OFC) for free.
The society, which organises the Royal Highland Show, is offering two scholarships to attend the conference on January 3-5, 2018.
Young people working in, or those studying towards a career in, agriculture or rural and land-based industries are encouraged to apply for a scholarship by Tuesday, November 14.
“RHASS is delighted to be in a position to offer this amazing opportunity to attend this great industry event,” said RHASS chief executive Alan Laidlaw.
“Speaking as a regular attendee, the OFC informs, challenges your thinking and inspires you to come away and improve. If you have an interest in our industry’s future success, and want to be part of that, I strongly encourage you to apply.”
Scholarship criteria includes being aged between 22 and 30, though exceptional candidates will be considered outside of that age range.
