A new Home Bargains store will open in Aberdeen just in time for Christmas.
The new branch at Bridge of Don Retail Park on Denmore Road has also created a job boost for the city, with 50 positions available.
It will open to the public at 8am on Saturday.
Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching our third store in Aberdeen and look forward to welcoming customers through the doors.”
He added: “Bridge of Don Retail Park will be a great location for us and we’re proud to be able to offer local people top-branded goods at exceptionally low prices.”
The 13,600 sq ft store, which the company has invested more than £750,000 in, will offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food.
