Aberdeen-based well management firm Zenith Energy is relocating to new offices in the city’s west end.
The new premises at 3 Bon Accord Square are four times the size of the company’s old headquarters in Regent’s Quay.
A spokeswoman for Zenith said the new site was on a long-term lease and the move represented an investment of about £300,000.
It also coincides with the firm’s second anniversary, with it having been founded in 2012.
Zenith said it needed more space for “exceptional” growth after doubling turnover in its second year.
The fledgling company has worked with 15 oil and gas operators on a string of large projects.
It has secured several key contracts in the past six months and will be project managing its entire first well later this year.
The new four-storey office building, which is 2,100 square feet, has been recently refurbished and includes a meeting room, boardroom and open plan office space to accommodate up to 24 staff.
Managing director Martin Booth said: “Zenith Energy has had an extremely successful two years, with continued growth in both contract wins and also employees from two to 14.
“The latest investment is part of our long-term strategic plans and overall vision, which will allow us to develop the business and broaden our services.
“The expansion is a key demonstrator of our commitment to the north-east and marks a significant point in the company’s growth, whilst strengthening our presence in Aberdeen.”
