Aberdeenshire villages will be treated to a fang-tastic stage show next month as the Northumberland Theatre Company presents Dracula, the Travesty.

The production team are bringing their three-cast tour around small venues in Scotland.

From the novel by Bram Stoker, which has links to Cruden Bay and other areas of the north-east, actor and writer Stewart Howson has put together a light, funny and daft production based on the Gothic tale.

The family-friendly show promises a night of fun, music and audience participation.

Actors Gillian Hambleton and David McCarthy join Mr Howson on stage for the show.

The show will begin its Aberdeenshire tour at Kemnay Village Hall on May 15.

It will then go to New Deer Public Hall on May 16, Bennachie Leisure Centre on May 17 and Slains School on May 18.

All shows begin at 7.30pm. For more information visit www.northumberlandtheatre.co.uk
