The days may be darker and the weather slightly colder but one thing is for sure our Saturday and Sunday nights are certainly back to their sparkly best.

This year’s show has offered viewers more drama and controversy than any previous line up, with Will Young choosing to make a departure in week three, Laura Whitmore missing a week for an ankle injury and twinkle toes himself Ed Balls sailing through each week, causing uproar from the judges and viewing public.

Season 14 is certainly in full swing as this Saturday sees the eight remaining celebrities waltz into week eight of the competition.

This is an important week for all couples as the remaining contenders fight for their chance to perform in the Blackpool special. Still left to fight it out on the dance floor, and the coveted Glitter ball, are politician Ed Balls, ex Hollyoaks hunk Danny Mac, model Daisy Lowe, long jump supremo Greg Rutherford, Olympian Claudia Fragapane, Judge Rinder, ex-popstar Louise Redknapp and TV host Ore Oduba.

Only time will tell who will be crowned the champion, with the finale in December, there is still plenty of time for you to watch your favourire stars sashay on the dance floor.

Are you already dreading the end of Strictly every Saturday and Sunday night?

Then fear not, we are offering our readers the opportunity to see their favourite stars at the 10 year Anniversary Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour, at the Glasgow SSE Hydro Arena in January 2017.

At the moment the celebrity couple line up has not been confirmed, but what we do know is that Len and Craig will be on the road as judges, alongside guest judge Karen Hardy, a Strictly professional alumni.

Also, this year to host the shows will be 2016 competitor and TV presenter Anita Rani.

So until then keeeeeeep watching your favourite show every Saturday and Sunday night, and bring a little glitz and glamour into those gloomy winter weekends.
