Why: The event was organised to raise funds for CHILDREN 1st, with Judith Ralston, as guest speaker, giving a fascinating insight into her life, and Mary Glasgow talking about her work with north-east children.
A draw was held with prizes donated by the Marcliffe Hotel, the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel, Amec, Rendezvous Nargile, Heavenly Hampers, Formartine’s, Cloud Nine Beauty, Kippie Lodge Beauty, MEKA Hair and D. Nicoll Fishmongers, and everyone went away with table favours donated by the William Grant Foundation. The event raised around £7,000 for CHILDREN 1st, a charity which helps vulnerable children and their families.
