Who: More than 100 people attended the ball, with the Moray Business Woman of the Year award being won by Marie Smith, of Highland Occasions By Design.
Most Enterprising Business of the Year went to Jacqui Cruickshank, of the Ditsy Teacup, Elgin, while the Member of Achievement award was presented to Shelley Waters, of Clydesdale Bank, and secretary to the group.
Why: While the event recognises business achievements in the area, charity is also to the fore and £7,000 was raised on the night for Lucy’s Fight for Motor Neurone Disease – in aid of Lucy Lintott, from Garmouth, who was diagnosed with the disease in 2013 aged 19.
