A north-east charity is offering its last few places at one of Scotland’s most daunting events.
Clan Cancer Support’s bungee jump will feature Scotland’s only 300ft drop – which is twice as deep as last year’s challenge.
It takes place on Saturday from 10am-4pm, at Aberdeen’s Beach Boulevard.
Ruth McIntosh, the charity’s fundraising coordinator, said: “We have had great interest in the bungee, with people signing up as individuals as well as corporate teams taking on the challenge.
“Many people who jumped the 160ft drop in 2018 are keen to experience the impressive 300ft height this year, including a girl from Orkney who is coming all the way from the Northern Isles to experience the thrill of free-falling.
“The bungee is currently the highest in Scotland, and participants will get to see a bird’s eye view of the city whilst they contemplate jumping off the platform.”
Online registration is open at www.clanhouse.org
There is a £40 registration fee, and participants are asked to set themselves a £80 sponsorship target.
