Fabritech UK makes key appointment

A north-east manufacturing, engineering and machining firm has made a management appointment to assist with the continued to growth of the company. Fabritech UK, which is based at the Insch Business Park in Aberdeenshire, has appointed Gary Boyne to the role of production manager, with the responsibility of overseeing all work carried out in the company’s workshop and managing staff.

In his role at Fabritech, which provides a comprehensive turnkey engineering and manufacturing service in steel, aluminum and stainless steel, Mr Boyne who has almost 30 years experience in the industry, will also assist senior management with the day-to-day running of the business.

Fabritech UK is currently undergoing a period of rapid growth with the launch of a new engineering division, and recently invested half a million pounds in new tooling and machinery to strengthen its services of its engineering division as the firm continues to secure high-profile contracts for major operators in the oil and gas industry.

Managing director, Stuart Mackie, said: “I am delighted to welcome Gary to the company and look forward to working with him to continue to grow the business using his vast experience and knowledge in the industry. Our existing staff will benefit from his experience and value his insight into other avenues through which to secure new clients and nurture existing relationships.”
