Emergency services were alerted to the discovery at Victoria Park at about 8.40am on Saturday morning. Police and ambulance staff attended but the man was found to be dead. A spokesman for the police said that the death is currently being treated as “unexplained”. A police presence remains at the park, which is currently cordoned off. A mans body was found at Victoria Park in Aberdeen. A force spokeswoman said: “We can confirm the body of a man has been found at Victoria Park in Aberdeen. “We received a call at 8.40am on Saturday reporting a person lying in the park. “Ambulance and police both attended but the man was found to be deceased. “Inquiries are ongoing at the scene.”
