Scottish Water is investigating concerns about tap water in some areas
Residents in Cove, Altens and Redmoss in Aberdeen have been left without water this evening after a water main burst.
Scottish Water engineers are currently attempting to fix the issue.
It is understood the water main has burst close to the Burger King car park.
Many residents have reported a complete lack of water coming out of their taps, while others have reported low water pressure.
A Scottish Water spokesman said: “A burst water main in Cove may be causing some customers in Cove, Altens and Redmoss to experience disruption to their supply.
“A squad has been organised, and will be on site shortly to commence with the emergency repairs.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing customers and will provide a further update as soon as more information becomes available.”
