A new drive-through restaurant and shop could be built in a north-east town.
Plans for the 3,200sqft Burger King outlet at Burnside Road in Peterhead have been unveiled by a developer.
Trade firm Toolstation has agreed to move into part of the 5,000sqft retail unit.
The proposed site forms part of Burnside Business Park near the Invernettie roundabout and is already home to a business centre and Quantum Data Solutions.
Aberdeen-based firm Mackie Ramsay Taylor Architects has submitted the plans on behalf of Carnoustie Links Development Limited.
A supporting statement setting out the vision for the development urged officials to back it and grant planning permission.
It said: “There would a small drive-through Burger King unit and a small retail unit.
“The proposed use is consistent with planning policy and provides sustainable development of an appropriate scale for the site and should be supported.”
It said the site would be accessible from Burnside Road and pedestrian links would be created as well.
There would also be 50 car parking spaces to be divided between each of the units.
