Police are appealing for witnesses after a 57-year-old man was assaulted in Stonehaven last week.
The incident occurred on Evan Street between 5am and 5.15am on Wednesday, November 6.
Police have described the suspect as being a white man standing at around 6ft and of a medium build.
The man was said to be wearing a white t-shirt and light coloured jeans at the time, and was driving a silver car.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time in question and saw the incident, or has information, to please get in touch as soon as possible while inquiries progress.
