Members of the public are being asked to help select the route of a new cycle path connecting two north-east communities.
Aberdeenshire Council previously built a link between Inverurie and Kintore, and it is used by dozens of people every day.
The local authority is now preparing to extend the path through to Blackburn and has launched a survey seeking feedback on its proposals.
Further plans to link it directly to the city centre are also under consideration.
Ewan Wallace, the council’s head of transportation, said: “As the public become increasingly interested in sustainable commuting options, we feel it is important to offer safe and efficient travel routes for those choosing to walk or cycle.”
The survey can be accessed online at tinyurl.com/vnhtueu, with paper copies available at Kintore and Kemnay libraries, the Crafty Cafe in Kintore and Kinellar Hall.
