Police have arrested two men after another man was seriously injured following an attack on an Aberdeen street during the coronavirus lockdown.
The incident happened around 3.10am this morning, when a 19-year-old man was injured on Walker Road in the Torry area of the city.
The victim was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
Two men, both aged 21, have been arrested in connection with the incident, which police are treating as attempted murder.
Officers have cordoned off the entrance to a property on Walker Road whilst inquires continue.
Detective Sergeant Bruce Buntain, of Aberdeen CID, said: “Inquiries into the incident remain ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to contact police as soon as possible.”
