Thousands of pounds worth of damage has been caused after vandals targeted an Aberdeen primary school.
Police have appealed for information after 15 windows were broken at the Holy Family RC School, at Summerhill Terrace, over the weekend.
The building was targeted three times between Friday and Monday.
It is understood the damage has cost a four-figure sum to repair.
Last night, one local councillor described the attack as “mindless” and urged anyone with any information to come forward.
Councillor David Cameron said: “This is totally unfair for the young children at the school, as vital resources will have to be used to cover the cost.
“This wasn’t just a one-off act, and it is mindless.
“If anyone knows something I urge them to contact police.”
A police spokesman said: “Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses following a vandalism to Holy Family RC School.
“Police are keen to speak to anyone who might have information in relation to this.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
