A video of two Fraserburgh dogs, Tierney and Benny, meeting for the first time and becoming instant friends has gone viral on TikTok and Reddit.
The original video may have been posted over a year ago – but continues to warm the hearts of people across the world.
Sarah Clark initially uploaded the video to TikTok in July 2021 but she was then approached to sell the rights to the footage, and it has since been reuploaded multiple times by different internet users.

The most recent reupload to the r/aww page on Reddit has over 74,000 upvotes, but the original TikTok from last year now has 14.3 million views and 2.8 million likes.
One commenter on the original upload described wanting to “move here and have the floofs as neighbours,” while another said: “this is so wholesome I’m crying.”
The dogs feature heavily on Sarah’s TikTok account, @sarahclark85, including another angle of the encounter.

Both the puppy and the older dog in Sarah’s videos are Bernese Mountain Dogs, a breed originally from Switzerland.
Sara said: “A company bought (the video) from me a year ago but I think random people just repost it.
“I think I’ve seen it a good few times on the internet since I posted it.
“It’s funny, I didn’t expect it. I just kind of posted it to show family and friends us getting a new puppy.”
Tierney, the older and larger of the two dogs, belongs to Sarah’s parents and the puppy, Benny, belongs to Sarah.
But according to Sarah they are “together every day” and they get on “even more now” than when they first met.
Sarah continues to upload videos of the dogs on TikTok, including one from last month of the two curling up together on the sofa.

One Reddit user was more taken by the Fraserburgh street than the dogs, saying it was “on my shortlist of places in the UK to retire to.”
