Heavy snow has been forecast to batter much of Scotland overnight.
Across Grampian up to 3cm of snow is expected to fall overnight, with up to 8cm expected to fall in higher regions.
And in the Highlands and Western Isles a yellow warning for dangerous wintry weather will continue until Wednesday.
Snow and sleet is also forecast to fall across Inverness until Wednesday morning.
Heavy snow is expected to fall across much of the Cairngorm National Park and the Highlands and Islands overnight, however Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray are expected to avoid most of the white stuff until Tuesday evening.
Ice is also expected to cause hazards on roads across much of Scotland as well, and the Met Office have advised the public to be aware of dangerous travel conditions and to prepare for possible disruption to transport.
