A man has been taken to hospital after a van overturned onto its roof after a two vehicle crash in Peterhead this morning.
The incident happened in the King Street area of the town at around 9.30am and involved a car and a van.
Fire services were sent to the scene at 9.37am and left at 10.31am, with the road subsequently being closed, however, it has now reopened.
A spokesman for the fire and rescue service said: “All persons were released prior to the arrival of the fire service and are being assessed by ambulance.”
A police spokesman added: “The male driver of the van has been taken to hospital for treatment and recovery was arranged for the vehicles.”
