VIDEO: Drone footage shows extent of flooding over Aberdeenshire

Astonishing footage has emerged showing how today’s flooding has left large parts of an Aberdeenshire village under water.

The film shows trees, buildings and cars all flooded in Marykirk.

As well as this a road which heads into the village has been blocked off as it has also been submerged.

But life in Marykirk has not been suspended completely as cars can be spotted driving around.
