Shetland Coastguard’s Rescue-900 helicopter has been called to the Brent Delta platform, north-east of Lerwick. The helicopter is still on its way to the rig, after the worker was hurt at about 7.40am. The aircraft will transport him to Tingwall, Shetland. A spokesman for the coastguard said: “We have a medi-vac on at the moment, someone has injured themselves on the Brent Delta platform. “Rescue-900 is still on its way.”
