A north-east man has admitted producing cannabis after police raided his seaside home.
Officers found £10,500 worth of the class B drug at Dean Kerr’s home in Clinton Drive, Sandhaven on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court yesterday and pled guilty to producing a controlled drug.
Sentence was deferred for a criminal justice social work report and Kerr will return to the dock next month.
Police welcomed the recovery from the village.
PC Samuel Scott said: “This recovery has taken a substantial amount of drugs out of our community.
“We will continue to target the illegal supply of drugs. We are grateful for the support of our communities and continue to urge anyone who has concerns regarding drugs or associated antisocial behaviour to contact police on 101.”
