Ricky Forrester, 26, appeared in private at the city’s sheriff court yesterday and made no plea. Forrester is facing a total of 27 charges of theft and having the intent to steal from properties and cars. He was committed for further examination and was released on bail. He appeared following reports of a number of thefts in the Cove and Portlethen area, which allegedly took place between September 22 and October 2.
