A motorcyclist who raced along a Highland road at two and a half times the legal speed limit will be sentenced next month.
At Inverness Sheriff Court yesterday, Barry Gray, 39, of Lodge Lane, High Burnside, Aviemore admitted driving dangerously at 149mph on September 7 last year on the A95 between Aviemore and Grantown
The incident happened in a 60mph limit at Auchendean by Skye of Curr.
Sheriff David Sutherland decided to call for a background report before hearing the facts from fiscal depute Karen Smith.
He deferred sentence until November 10 and imposed an interim driving disqualification on Gray.
